En reciente correspondencia dirigida a la Comisión de Filatelia
Temática de la Federación Interamericana de Filatelia – CT/FIAF, el Presidente
en ejercicio de la Junta de la Comisión de Filatelia Temática de la Federación
Internacional de Filatelia – CT/FIP, Koenraad Bracke, comunicó que esa Comisión
otorgó el Reconocimiento Oficial al Tercer
Congreso FIAF de Filatelia Temática, que tendrá lugar en Bogotá en el
segundo semestre del año próximo (la fecha la anunciará oficialmente, muy
pronto, la Federación Colombiana de Filatelia – FEFILCO).
En sus palabras textuales, así se expresó el Presidente Koenraad
Bracke:
“It is a great pleasure
for the Bureau of the FIP Commission of Thematic Philately to give his
recognition to the III FIAF
Congress of Thematic Philately. The TC Bureau appreciates very
much the activities of the ‘FIAF Comisión Temática’ to promote the
thematic philately in the Americas.
After the big success
of the First Thematic Congress in San José (Costa Rica) and the Second Congress
in Quito (Ecuador), the latter in conjunction with one of the biggest
exhibitions in FIAF history, I am sure that also the Third Congress in Bogotá
(Colombia) will result into the biggest thematic philately event of FIAF in
2017. As a participant at the 2nd Congress in Quito, I am sure that
this kind of events are very important for the thematic philately community in
this part of the world, as well for judges as for thematic philatelists who
want to improve their exhibits.
We hope that the event
will be a big success and wish you all the best with the preparations of the
Third Congress of Thematic Philately in Bogotá in the second half of 2017!”

En nombre de la CT/FIAF, quisiéramos agradecer al Presidente Koenraad
Bracke y a todos los demás integrantes de la Junta de la CT/FIP que, por
unánime decisión de sus miembros titulares, decidió otorgar el Reconocimiento
Oficial al Tercer Congreso FIAF de
Filatelia Temática que se realiza en el Continente, evento éste que (como
el anterior) pasa así a ser parte del calendario mundial de eventos de la CT/FIP.
